Roasting
As a light roast, Lazy Sunday is a light roast that is easy on the palate and mellows into a warm hug for your senses. The cocoa influences from Latin America smooth the brew whilst Africa offers citrus hints to bring the balance. The result is a cup that is delicious on its own or paired with cake, milk chocolate and other sweets. It is a great match with vanilla and lemon drizzle cakes. sponges.
When brewing this coffee, we recommend using the French Press method, preheating your vessel by adding some off the boil water to ensure that it stays warm and ready for brew. Once brewed leave to steep for 4 minutes, this will ensure that the grounds are completely saturated and not over extracted. The water is then moved through the grounds using the plunger, but do not stir or agitate the coffee, as this could cause unpleasant elements to enter your cup.
